"Our entryway single canned light was dull and boring. My wife wanted the canned light replaced with a chandelier to improve the look of our home. Being a computer geek and home improvements not one of my areas of expertise, I was ready to hire a professional to perform the task. However, after reading about the Can Converter on the Internet, and hearing the salesperson at the lamp store where we purchased the chandelier tout the Can Converter, I decided to purchase the Can Converter R56 kit and perform the change myself. With clear, concise instructions from the Can Converter kit, I was able to replace the canned light with the chandelier in a matter of a couple of hours. Amazing!! My wife is very happy with the new look and having just celebrated our 5 yr. anniversary, "Happy Wife, Happy Life!"

April 2011 Project of the Month Winner

"I have 5 recessed lights in my kitchen and wanted to focus light above the main countertop area. Also, I have a completely open kitchen that looks toward my living room. I wanted to add a sense of separating the two without obstructing the view from either room. I chose down lights with non-translucent domes to best focus the light down since the 3 remaining recessed lights brighten the kitchen overall."

"I used the Can Converter to dramatically change the lighting in my kitchen above my sink. We went from a single can light to a track lighting system with three pendants and two spotlights. What a difference!"

"My apartment had a single can light in the dining area. I've had this chandelier since I moved in 10 months ago and thought it would be a huge undertaking to get it installed. I found The Can Converter website and located a store near me that had the R56 in stock and completed the install that day!"
